Background
Galgorm Resort & Spa is considered one of Northern Ireland’s most prestigious hotels. It was felt that the website could be improved as a sales tool and enhanced aesthetically in order to reposition the hotel in the luxurious hospitality sector. Email marketing was limited and only produced on a project by project basis and lacked a defined strategy.

What We Did
We redesigned the website, re-positioning the resort from a traditional country house into a luxurious country retreat and spa destination, and complemented the site design by art directing a range of photography to showcase the resort as a luxurious destination.
The redesign also enhanced the placement of the booking system, repositioning it in a more prominent position to help drive business online. This was complemented further by adding a dedicated offers section to every page of the website.
The targeted SEO programme was initiated in conjunction with the website redesign which also included article writing and other effective SEO activities. An email marketing schedule was developed to increase e-shot regularity and frequency with a template designed to facilitate this process.
Since the launch of the new site and SEO campaign, online bookings have increased significantly from visitors outside Northern Ireland and the resort has become one of the top Google listings for relevant word associated searches.
